UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS

Characters are unlocked by either fulfilling specific requirements or playing a certain number of VS matches.

Luigi	Complete stage 1 of Adventure Mode with the timer at XX:X2:XX, then defeat Luigi and Peach in less than a minute.	800
Marth	Use all 14 starting characters in Classic, Adventure, or VS Mode.	400
Mewtwo	Play VS Mode for a combined total of 20 hours.	700

Flat Zone	Complete Classic Mode with Mr. Game & Watch.
Fourside	Play 100 VS matches.
Kongo Jungle (Past Stages)	Complete 15-Minute Melee.
Mushroom Kingdom II	Unlock the Birdo trophy.
Pok� Floats	Play 200 VS matches.
Yoshi's Island (Past Stages)	Hit Sandbag more than 1312.3 ft (400 m) in Home-Run Contest.

UNLOCKABLE TROPHIES

Trophies for playable characters are unlocked by completing Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and All-Star Mode as that specific character, or by playing 100, 200, and 300 VS matches as that character.

Two trophies, Mario and Yoshi and Samus Unmasked, were only available as part of a Japanese promotion and cannot be unlocked without hacking.

All other trophies are unlocked randomly through Trophy Lottery or in single-player.

Bunny Hood	Get 125 combined combos with all characters in Training Mode.
Captain Olimar	Have a Pikmin save file on your memory card.
Celebi	Summon Celebi from a Pok� Ball.
Crazy Hand	Clear Adventure Mode on Hard or Very Hard with no continues.
Diskun	Get all 249 bonuses.
Donkey Kong Jr.	Complete Classic Mode with every character.
Entei	Complete Event 26: Trophy Tussle 2.
F-Zero Racers	Complete Adventure Mode with every character.
Falcon Flyer	Play 150 VS matches.
Female Wire Frame	Defeat 100 enemies in Endless Melee.
Fighting Wire Frames	Complete 15-Minute Melee.
Final Destination	Complete Event 51: The Showdown.
Food	Play 1000 VS matches.
Game & Watch	Complete Event 45: Game & Watch Forever!
Giga Bowser	Defeat Giga Bowser in Adventure Mode without using a continue.
Goomba	Complete Event 14: Trophy Tussle 1.
Heart Container	Play 100 VS matches.
Kirby Hat 4	Unlock Luigi, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, and Marth.
Kirby Hat 5	Unlock Roy, Pichu, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Young Link, and Falco.
Kraid	Play 50 VS matches.
Landmaster Tank	Get 1000 combined KOs.
Lip's Stick	Get a 21-hit combo or higher in Training Mode.
Lon Lon Milk	Play for 25 combined minutes in Target Test.
Mach Rider	Get the Speed Demon bonus.
Majora's Mask	Clear Event 47: Trophy Tussle 3.
Male Wire Frame	Complete 100-Man Melee in under 4 minutes.
Marin	Unlock all stages and characters.
Master Hand	Clear Classic Mode on Hard or Very Hard with no continues.
Maxim Tomato	Play 10 VS matches.
Meowth	Complete All-Star Mode with every character.
Metal Box	Get an 11-hit combo or higher in Training Mode.
Mew	Complete All-Star Mode on Hard or Very Hard.
Motion-Sensor Bomb	Clear Event 3: Bomb-fest.
Mr. Resetti	Defeat 5 enemies in Cruel Melee.
Mute City	Walk a combined total distance of 10,000 meters with every character.
Paper Mario	Hit Sandbag 1476 ft (450 m) in Home-Run Contest.
Samus's Starship	Clear Escape from Brinstar in Adventure Mode.
Sandbag	Hit Sandbag 984 ft (300 m) in Home-Run Contest.
Sheriff	Complete Target Test in under 12:30.
Smash Coins	Play Coin Battle 100 times.
Sudowoodo	Play 200 VS matches.
Target	Complete Target Test with every character.
Tom Nook	Get 1000 combined coins.
UFO	Play 100 VS matches.
Unown	Get over 16,404 ft (5000 m) combined distance in Home-Run Contest.
Wario	Complete All-Star Mode without using a continue.
Wolfen	Clear Adventure Mode in under 18:20.

OTHER UNLOCKABLES
